Travel has been my favourite thing to do with my son. It’s a tickled feeling to watch his curious face as he is exposed to new experiences.
For the longest time, I had lived in a bubble that travel has be life altering experience to a far off destination with an epic itinerary.. But these front page worthy trip in our memory book happen once in a while and we can’t let NOW go waiting for THEN
We live in Mumbai, won’t call it one of the top tourist destinations of our country but a pretty good one that I am sure sits on the bucket list of a few..
Lately, we have been exploring our city as if we’ve never been here before.. And visiting the same place with G is like seeing it with fresh eyes. The same old streets, wahi Tiger point, marine drive, Juhu beach, Gateway, Chaupati, even sea link light up his face..
As I was doing an online research to jot down places I’d like to visit, I realised our own city has a wealth of attractions..
We are loving this whole tourist behaviour of ours and I am pleasantly surprised how G’s little mind is inter relating and learning by itself as we explore. He picked up so much at the planetarium, yesterday when we were driving in the evening, he saw the sun set and said papa look at the sun it looks like a ball of fire, he often tells us you know it’s extremely hot but there are other stars that are even hotter than the sun. So here is a list of places in the City of dreams that we want to visit together.
