You’ve made up your mind, you want to stay fit and keep healthy.
What do you do next? Join a Gym or a health club? What are the odds that a gym membership is either too expensive, or you can’t find a gym in the vicinity that is convenient for you, or your schedule does not allow you to go the gym. Or you are a mom like I am, and have only a short bracket of time to get a lot done, either during baby’s nap times or when he engages himself in play.
What do you do then? Throw the idea of keeping yourself fit out of the window or bury it deep into heart until the circumstances become favourable? Or make it possible to get a good workout at home against all odds.
Speaking with experience of over six months now, I can assure you that getting a good workout at home is absolutely possible, in spite of it’s share of distractions and challenges.
How I overcome the challenges and categorise my workouts at home are discussions I leave for another time. In this post, I have listed 10 YouTube accounts that continue to help me achieve my fitness goals from the comfort of my home. Also linked below are my favourite workouts from each of these channels. ( favourites are based on my fitness level and may not work equally well for you. Scrutinise these channels to find what you like the best )
1. HASfit
If you are just starting out on your fitness journey or are getting back after a break, HASfit is an ideal option to begin with. They provide over One Thousand full length without videos, 30 – 90 days fitness programs along with meal plans.
Their videos have a happy vibe to them, the coaches keep you motivated throughout the video.
They have all of their resources available on their website and on their YouTube channel, but in case you decide to invest a nominal amount on their paid membership, it’s worth every penny.

When you follow a Joanna Soh video it’s like having a personal trainer at home in your living room. You get a workout done and your muscles are sure to feel it, in a good way. What I like is the fact that her workouts are doable yet challenging. The fitness pro provides kickass circuits that burn 400+ calories, strength challenges that call for 1,000 squats and lunges, and more.
